Will I Make More with a Degree?

So many of us are constantly looking for ways to earn more. It’s natural to want to make more money, to be able to buy more stuff, pay off bills and just not live paycheck-to-paycheck. Whatever your reason, it’s there and it’s why so many people fall for those get-rich-quick scams, multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs), and risky, long-shot investments. However, most of them fail and you just end up with less money than before.
Let’s wake up! There is no such thing as a get-rich-quick program; you need to do it the hard way! Do your research; college education does pay. People with college degrees earn way more than those with high school degrees, those with Masters earn more than those with Bachelors, those with Bachelors earn more than those with Associates. In essence, there is a direct correlation between the level of higher education and earning potential.
Of course, not everyone with a degree makes milions; that would just be a foolish thought. What advanced education does do is open doors and provide you with more opportunities. Isn’t that what we are looking for? Opportunities, opened doors, a chance for greater success and earning potential? Clearly, without a college education the odds are stacked against you. Do yourself and your family a favor and pursue a higher level degree. It is the one investment that cannot be taken away from you. Once you earn your degree, it will always be yours.

Anyone and everyone somehow, sometime or somewhere has been touched by a teacher. We all have our personal favorites and for many different reasons. Some are personal, some are professional, some are due to motivation, others due to tenderness or flexibility. What ever the reason, we want to know who your favorite teacher/instructor/professors was for an online college program. Please share with the group members.
Expanded use of iPads for online education

Since the creation of the uber network appliance the iPad there have been a flood of applications brought to market leveraging this incredible device. Clearly, the iPad is an industry transformer and many believe it to ultimately be a disruptor to the laptop industry. While the mass adoption of the iPad and resulting flurry of games and fun apps have taken many by surprise, one industry welcomes its ease of use and utility, and that industry is higher education.
With super fast WiFi, the device is being used in classrooms of traditional colleges and as classrooms of online colleges. Many new technology software development firms are rushing to either adapt learning platforms or create new ones to support this shift in internet access devices. ”Clearly when it comes to technology it’s innovate or die, the wise choose to innovate,” says a large online learning company. It seems evident that the iPad is not just a fad, it’s a transformation. Apple isn’t the only game in town, thus we are making apps for all tables, not just the Apple device.
For those of you who have not used one, it may be hard to understand the attraction or the momentum, but spend even 10 minutes with an iPad and you will understand the utility and simplicity. The iPad has transformed online anytime, anywhere education to the next level.
